About SONSA
The SONSA Foundation is an Iowa-registered nonprofit organization and the official nonprofit organization supporting the Society of Non Starving Artists.
SONSA operates a physical art space in Clinton, Iowa, where we host art shows, workshops, Paint & Sips, community events, and other creative activities.
SONSA is currently in the process of obtaining federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Until that status is officially granted, donations should not be considered tax-deductible.
Our Name & Relationship
The SONSA Foundation has permission to use the Society of Non Starving Artists name through an agreement with the Society of Non Starving Artists.
The Society of Non Starving Artists is a separate organization and operates through nonstarvingartist.com.
Donations & Payment Processing
Donations support SONSA’s art space, programs, events, supplies, equipment, improvements, and general operating expenses.
During our startup period, SONSA uses LewisOne Studios for certain banking, bookkeeping, and payment-processing services. LewisOne Studios is owned by a member of the SONSA organization, and this arrangement has been approved by the SONSA Board of Directors.
As a result, LewisOne Studios may appear on your bank or credit-card statement for donations made through this website.
Your donation is made to The SONSA Foundation, not to LewisOne Studios.
Donor Rewards
Some donation levels may include gifts, artwork, merchandise, or other rewards. Any available rewards are described on the donation page and may vary based on availability.
